Race Update: The safety of our runners and volunteers is the number one priority and Town officials from Greenwich and the Greenwich Road Runners have decided to postpone Sunday’s Greenwich Half Marathon until Sunday, October 18th.
We agonized making this decision, but the forecasted high winds and tides gave us little choice. Town officials were concerned about coastal flooding, power outages, downed trees and power lines.
Your entry will be automatically moved to the October 18th date. If you chose not to run you can defer to the 2027 race (please let us know at nikky@jbsports.com as soon as possible if you are deferring to the 2027 race). We are very sorry we are not able to host the event on Sunday. Please go to jbsports.com for more details in the coming days.
